The first issue of the SI Letter was published in the Summer of 2007 with goals to inspire thinking about new ways of seeing and/or acting by sharing stories of our work, struggles and thoughts on both our local and global communities as well as our personal and professional lives. In this respect, the SI Letter strives to reach beyond updates and announcements by offering a space for a variety of SI voices to share reflective essays, interviews, tools, experiments and quotes.
The SI Letter evolved from the Dear Folks monthly letter which was begun by Donella Meadows in 1986 and continued from 2001 to 2007 by Susan Sweitzer. The letter is intended for all friends of SI. If you are interested in signing up to receive the quarterly SI Letter electronically please join our listserv by visiting: http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/sustainability.inst
The listserv only allows posts from SI including updates, program announcements, and the SI Letter. If you prefer to receive a hardcopy of the letter please email info@sustainer.org to sign up.
